It may seem like now is a great time to be advertising directly for your next hire and this method can work, if you have the time and resources to be able to do the job properly, without damaging your business and brand.
We’ve found that unfortunately, a lot of businesses currently aren’t or can’t. From speaking to candidates, what we’ve heard is that they aren’t receiving any form of feedback from applications made and worse, aren’t receiving feedback following interviews. This is probably due to time constraints, as most hiring managers also have a day job to be doing and we appreciate spinning multiple plates isn’t easy, but it is so important to do.
